Center for Media Literacy
The Center for Media Literacy (CML) is a nonprofit educational organization that provides leadership, public education, professional development and educational resources nationally. Dedicated to promoting and supporting media literacy education as a framework for accessing, analyzing, evaluating and creating media content, CML works to help citizens, especially the young, develop critical thinking and media production skills needed to live fully in the 21st century media culture.

Northwest Media Literacy Center
Based in Portland, Oregon, the NW Media Literacy Center offers media literacy courses and presentations to interested groups. Their website includes resources and links.

Media Awareness Network
Resources and support for everyone interested in media and information literacy for young people. Search their Lesson Library, found in the "For Teachers" section, for lesson plans for elementary and secondary school ages and supporting materials on topics such as body image, gender portrayal, stereotyping and many more.
