Preventing Child Sexual Abuse Within Youth-serving Organizations: Getting Started on Policies and Procedures
This report is designed for representatives of youth-serving organizations who are interested in adopting strategies to prevent child sexual abuse. The report covers six key components (1) screening and selecing employees and volunteers; (2) guidelines on interactions between individuals; (3) monitoring behavior; (4) ensuring safe environments; (5) responding to inappropriate behavior, breaches in policy, and allegations and suspicions of child sexual abuse; and (6) training about child sexual abuse prevention.
Promoting Prevention, Targetting Teens: An Emerging Agenda to Reduce Domestic Violence
The FVPF undertook an unprecedented yearlong investigation to gather and synthesize the best knowledge about domestic violence, its causes and consequences, and to define the strategies that offer the greatest promise to keep women and children safe. The Empower Program is a world leader in violence prevention and innovative approaches to dealing with violence. National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention
Lots of resources on topics such as coalition building, evaluation, needs assessment, social marketing. Primarily focuses on substance abuse prevention. However, these strategies for preventing substance abuse are, in many cases, parallel with those for violence prevention.

National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center
Developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other Federal partners, the Resource Center provides current information developed by Federal agencies or with Federal support pertaining to youth violence. A gateway for professionals, parents, youth and other interested individuals, the Resource Center offers the latest tools to facilitate discussion with children, to resolve conflicts nonviolently, to stop bullying, to prevent teen suicide, and to end violence committed by and against young people. Resources include fact sheets, best practices documents, funding and conference announcements, statistics, research bulletins, surveillance reports, and profiles of promising programs.
